Angeline Capetanakis is of counsel at our firm, a law school classmate and a long time dear friend of Kira's. A native San Diegan, Angie went to college at Cornell University, where she played with the women's soccer team.

She excelled at the University of San Diego School of Law (c/o 2007) during which time she was honored with a federal externship with the Honorable Thomas J. Whalen and being voted President of the law school. After practicing litigation for several years, Angie turned her eye to starting two businesses with her husband.  A successful entrepreneur and mother of three, Angie has now turned her always keen eye to estate planning.   Like Kira, she realized her need for a plan when she and her husband took their first solo trip without their children.

She is excited to get to know our clients and help families prepare for the future.

About Angie.

About Kira.

Kira is the principal and owner of The Law Office of Kira M. Rubel.  She attended University of San Diego for both undergraduate and law school degrees.  A native Washingtonian, she recently returned to her home to continue practicing law and is now licensed in Washington and California.

Kira has over 11 years of experience in complex litigation and has recovered more than $40  million for consumers since inception of this firm.  She has also spent many years assisting small businesses and entrepreneurs navigate the difficult legal world of opening and owning a business.  She has significant experience in business formation, contract negotiation, employment issues, and business strategy, including business sales or acquisitions.

In 2016, Kira forayed into estate planning when she realized (at an alarming moment, while on vacation with her husband and away from their child) that she had no plan in place for her young child if the worst were to happen to she and her husband.

Disenchanted with the way she had seen other estate plans work (or fail to work) for family, friends and clients in the past, Kira committed herself to finding a better way to prepare for these major life events. Kira's method of estate planning takes into account nuances that many others don't consider, such as the emotional and personal wishes of each client, as well as robust asset and estate tax protection.

Kira is incredibly passionate about the work that she does and looks forward to helping you as a consumer, employee, family in search of estate planning (and planning for your minor children), or a small business owner.
